Position Overview

Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking an experienced AP Specialist to join their team in California. This role is designed for someone who is detail-oriented and possesses a strong background in accounts payable processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in a high-volume setting and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Managing high-volume accounts payable processes with efficiency and accuracy.
  • Utilizing Oracle software to process and manage accounts payable tasks.
  • Ensuring all accounts payable transactions are recorded correctly and in a timely manner.
  • Collaborating with other team members to ensure smooth financial operations.
  • Maintaining organized records and documentation for all transactions.
  • Assisting in the preparation of financial reports related to accounts payable.
  • Addressing any discrepancies or issues with a proactive approach.
  • Providing support to the finance team with other tasks as required.

Qualifications

  • 1-5 years of experience in a high-volume accounts payable role.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency with Oracle software is required.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Required Work Hours

The position requires availability from Monday to Friday during standard business hours.

Benefits

The salary range for this position is $25 to $28 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
